Welcome Letter
September 6, 2019
Dear Seaquam swimmers and parents,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 season! It is my pleasure to sponsor the Seaquam swim team once again. We will be practicing on Friday mornings from 6:30-7:30 at Sungod Aquatic Centre. Please ensure that you have registered and paid your Seaquam athletics, lane rental, and Regionals fees by cheque by Wednesday, September 18th. Cheques should be made out to Seaquam Secondary School and submitted to Mrs. Finlan. Swimmers MUST pay their fees BEFORE entering the pool for the second practice. Meet fees for Regionals are included and swimmers will select their four (4) events at a team meeting. Meet fees for Provincials will be collected after Regionals as swimmers must qualify for each event.
Cost Breakdown
1. Lane rental - $14 (swimmers share the total cost of the lanes)
2. Seaquam Athletics fee - $35 (includes t-shirt and year-end banquet)
3. Regionals meet fees - $12
4. Provincials meet fees - TBD
Grand total: $61
We will be competing at the South Fraser Regional Championships (on a Pro-D Day) and the Provincial Championships so we will be missing one full day of classes. Swimmers, please check with your teachers beforehand to ensure that you are prepared for class when you return.
Go, Seahawks!
